F.P. Journe

F.P. Journe has teamed up with Paris’s ICM Brain and Spinal Cord Institute to release a special edition watch for their charity gala auction. The manufacture created a one-of-a-kind version of its Centigraphe Souverain timepiece in platinum with a blue mother of pearl dial that shows off the ICM logo. The winning bid ended up at 120,000 euros with the full amount going towards research at ICM.

Longines

The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco concluded over the weekend after bringing together horse and watch enthusiasts from around the world. The winning team all wore Longines timepieces and the event was commemorated with a special edition official watch of the tournament, which was featured as a part of the brand’s DolceVita collection. The event attracted royal figures such as Prince Albert II, Princess Caroline of Hanover and Charlotte Casiraghi.

Omega

Last Thursday at the W Hotel in Amsterdam, Omega rolled out their latest line of watches in front of a crowd of VIP’s. The Omega “Deep Black” collection blends together all of Omega’s most recent technical achievements including a Master Chronometer, Ceramic caseback, Liquidmetal, 18k Sedna Gold, and Omega Ceragold, all into four different powerful timepieces.

TAG Heuer

The TAG Heuer sponsored Goodwood Festival of Speed kicked off last weekend for four days of motorsports-based fun. Activities included a stop at the TAG Heuer VIP Driver’s Club where celebrities like Keanu Reeves were spotted and the interactive TAG Heuer Pavilion that includes a 3D-virtual reality journey through the history of the Swiss manufacture. TAG also released a limited edition James Hunt inspired watch that was only available at the festival

Zenith

Zenith is a brand rooted in both zest and tradition, making the watchmaker easily drawn to the action of treasured European sports like professional racing. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the World Rally Championship Title 1976, Zenith hosted a commemorative event in Biella, Italy and released 40 limited edition watches inspired by the legendary speedster Lancia Stratos. The winner of the Stratos race also gets to claim a Zenith Chronomaster 1969 timepiece.
