About

Watch Journal has been covering the unique and storied world of watches since 1997, and it has always enjoyed strong, ongoing relationships with global watch industry leaders. Now under the leadership of media entrepreneur Marc Lotenberg (who also runs the award-winning design magazine Surface), Watch Journal has become a luxury media brand positioned at the very top of the market.

The magazine provides a refined lens on the watch world. Each issue includes coverage of relevant news and events; the publisher’s recurring column on the business of watches; a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into watch manufacturing; a section of original watch photography; profiles of industry leaders and collector interviews; and a curated special section filled with luxury lifestyle products and services.

Watch Journal encompasses a large-format print edition, which appears nine times a year; a digital edition, watchjournal.com; a number of social media platforms (@watchjournal, #watchjournal); and a variety of exciting special events. Watch Journal is available by subscription, at Barnes & Noble and at top watch stores and brand boutiques nationwide. Watch Journal will maintain its exclusive private jet airport distribution through proprietary Media Jet stands in more than 200 of the country’s top private-jet air terminals.
