DAILY WATCH: A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone

A. Lange & Söhne revealed its first Lange collection on October 25, 1994, at the Dresden Palace, marking the beginning of a new era for the 171 year-old watch manufacture. This year, 22 years after the launch of the original timepiece, the German brand unveiled a special edition Lange 1 Time Zone watch in a new 18-carat honey gold case. To honor the origin of the collection, the Central European time zone indication is represented by Dresden instead of the German capital of Berlin. Boasting a 3-day power reserve and an easily intelligible dial, the newest version is accented with touches of blue on the watch face and an indigo peripheral ring. Limited to 100 pieces the watch is available exclusively at A. Lange & Söhne boutiques and retails for $64,300.
