Urwerk recently released a new version of its EMC concept watch, which won the 2014 Geneva Grand Prix d’Horlogerie prizes for both “exceptional mechanism” and “innovation.”

For the newest iteration of the EMC, called “The Pistol,” URWERK assembled a team of leading craftsmen for each of the specialized tasks to create the unique piece, including Florian Güllert, who did the intricate engraving that covers the case of this extremely ornate piece. It comes with a Nile crocodile strap and is powered with an in-house URWERK Calibre UR-EMC with an 80-hour power reserve.
