DAILY WATCH: Tudor Pelagos LHD

In 1981, the very first Pelagos model was released by Tudor. Tomorrow, a Pelagos will be unveiled that acknowledges and reaches a segment of the population previously ignored by Tudor: left-handed professional divers. For a long time, divers were forced to wear their watches upside down and on their right hand, but Tudor is now releasing a solution to their problems: the Pelagos LHD. The model, like its predecessors, includes a Helium Escape Valve that guarantees the watch waterproof to a depth of 500 meters. A titanium adjustable bracelet that has been patented by the manufacturer, allows the diver to easily modify the strap throughout the dive to make sure it does not slip off. Possessing the MT5612 in-house movement, the timepiece maintains a power reserve of 70 hours, a frequency of 4 Hz, and a self-winding system certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute. Priced at $4,400 and limited to a few pieces, the timepiece is a perfect addition to any lefties watch collection.
