Before making a formal debut at the 27th Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, Roger Dubuis previewed its latest innovation, the Excalibur Quatuor Cobalt MicroMelt. Challenging the conventions of design, the timepiece revels in both Swiss craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. It is the first watch to have a case made of high-performance cobalt chrome alloy, a highly durable and corrosion-resistant, biocompatible material. The innovative material is surrounded by red and white accents that complement the blue of the alligator leather strap. The detrimental effects of gravity are nulled with the Quatuor’s four balance springs and five differentials. The model is limited to eight total units.
