Experience one of the more abstract interpretations of time with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s latest addition to its Hybris Artistica collection. Hybris Artistica mystérieuse is the latest series of eight men’s and women’s timepieces unveiled by the brand at SIHH this past week. The series consists of three one-of-a-kind ladies pieces and a men’s model that is limited to five total. The series tackles the physical representation of time with no hands involved. Instead, the hour can be read from the tourbillon’s position on the dial and the minutes from the flange disk. The women’s watches come in red, white, and blue and feature “snow setting,” a technique developed exclusively by Jaeger-LeCoultre. Behind the mother-of-pearl dial beats the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 941, a movement specifically made for the Hybris Artistica mystérieuse. This collection successfully combines technical innovation with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s artistic capabilities.
