On November 3, Hublot celebrated the debut of the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Special Edition Concrete Jungle with a three-part event in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The special edition timepiece is the collaborative brainchild of Hublot and co-designer Tristan Eaton, a prominent street artist and New Yorker. A tribute to New York City, as its name suggests, the watch takes a literal spin on the nickname “Concrete Jungle,” containing elements of concrete in the bezel. Eaton’s artistic contribution is featured on the caseback where his recognizable collage technique is displayed in a depiction of the Statue of Liberty, encapsulating one of the artist’s original pieces, Liberty. Truly a special edition, the timepiece is limited to 50 pieces and retails for $19,500; more information can be found on Hublot’s website.
