DAILY WATCH: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

Any time you decide to tweak a design icon, it’s best to tread carefully. Rolex, a brand with more than a few icons to its credit, knows this well. The newest Daytona is actually kind of an old Daytona. With a design that harkens back to the familiar Daytona’s of the 1960s, the flagship chronograph from Rolex includes the cerachrom bezel first seen in the 2013 release of the 50th Anniversary Platinum Daytona. It premiered in Basel with a familiar white-and-black dial variation, and is, of course, powered by a top-of-the-line in-house Rolex chronograph movement.
