After the spectacular unveiling of a limited edition timepiece with a blue abyss meteorite dial and a titanium case during SIHH 2015, Parmigiani Fleurier has brought the out-of-this-world substance back to give it a rose gold treatment. Meteorite is an arduous substance to work with as the mineral structure is unpredictable and thus requires a galvanoplastic treatment. Measuring at 2.6 mm thick, the Tonda 1950’s movement is the smallest of its kind and utilizes a unique platinum micro-oscillating weight that is exclusive to the watchmakers at Parmigiani Fleurier.
