Bamford Watch Department and Zenith team up.

Over the years, the Bamford Watch Department (BWD) has gathered a tremendous following thanks to releasing modified versions of classic timepieces.
The classic Bamford look? Blacked-out and coated in PVD. These watches look cool and modern and continue to be received extremely well on social media, but are known to attract the ire of the brands themselves.
For the first time, a Swiss watch brand is partnering with Bamford to produce officially certified and fully customized versions of Zenith watches. By bringing modified versions of timepieces the caliber of the El Primero in-house, head of watchmaking for LVMH Jean-Claude Biver is attempting to capture a unique audience full of younger collectors that are attracted to the tricked-out timepieces. This also serves as a way to legitimize Bamford’s operations among collectors around the world. Bamford will work directly with Zenith to receive authentic supplies and spare parts, making sure that each customized watch is as authentic as when it left Le Locle.
“This is a new chapter and one of the most significant steps we have taken as a business,” said the founder and namesake of the Bamford Watch Department, George Bamford. “It is amazing not only to gain such a strong foothold in the Swiss watchmaking fraternity, but also to receive such a wonderful validation of our overall customization concept.”
