Set to debut in January 2017, Officine Panerai previewed its  two contemporary editions of the Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio – 47mm at Le Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie on November 8. The timepieces evoke the nautical spirit of their precursor, whose inception traces back to the 1930s Royal Italian Navy. Available in its original color, black and now in an earthy brown, the two are fashioned with a 12-sided bezel in brushed steel with classic Arabic numerals. Equipped with a power reserve appropriate to its name (up to 72 hours), and water resistance up to 3 bar (30m), the timepieces bridge form and function. Along the stainless steel case reads, “OFFICINE PANERAI – BREVETTATO,”  an engraving that echoes the luminous dial inherited from its predecessor.
